Epoxy pipe lining — also called trenchless pipe lining or cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) restoration — is a modern method of repairing damaged, cracked, or root-invaded sewer and drain lines without excavation. Instead of digging up your yard, driveway, or foundation to access the pipe, VIP technicians insert a flexible epoxy-saturated liner through an existing access point. The VIP Epoxy Pipe Lining Process

Step 1 — Camera Inspection Before any work begins, VIP runs a high-resolution camera through your drain or sewer line to assess the condition of the pipe, identify damage, locate root intrusion, and confirm that lining is the appropriate solution for your situation.

Step 2 — Pipe Cleaning & Preparation We hydro-jet or mechanically clean the interior of the pipe to remove buildup, roots, and debris. A clean pipe surface is essential for the epoxy liner to bond properly.

Step 3 — Liner Preparation & Insertion The Hammerhead BlueLight liner — pre-saturated with epoxy resin — is measured, cut, and inserted through the existing access point. No excavation required.

Step 4 — BlueLight UV Curing The UV curing train is pulled through the liner, exposing it to high-intensity blue light that cures the epoxy in minutes. The result is a hard, seamless new pipe surface bonded to the interior of the host pipe.

Step 5 — Final Camera Inspection We run the camera through the completed liner to verify full coverage, confirm the cure, and document the finished result for your records.
